New guidelines for large scale rescue operations at sea

Commercial ships have had to rescue tens of thousands of migrants and refugees in the Mediterranean this year. In response to this ongoing crisis, the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) has published new guidelines for large scale rescue at sea, which can be downloaded free of charge via the ICS website (www.ics-shipping.org/docs/largescalerescue)
