Hoyer: joint venture in Saudi Arabia

Hoyer, a globally active chemical logistics group, has founded a joint venture (JV) with the Globe Marine Group and the Sharaf Group. The three companies signed an agreement to this effect in Dammam (Saudi Arabia) this month (May). The new JV, called Hoyer Saudi Arabia, is starting operations immediately. The company, which is headquartered in Damman and has other locations in Saudi Arabia, will coordinate and implement intermodal liquid bulk transportation in Saudi Arabia and Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The JV’s aim is to establish and develop a wide-flung network for logistics and transport in the region, particularly for petrochemical products in the Arabian world.
