Eco-tax in France from 1 October

Goods vehicles over 3.5 t will have to pay to use the 30,000 km of publicly-managed motorways, national and departmental roads in France from 1 October. Tax rates will vary according to a vehicle's weight, its euro emissions class and congestion level, but it is estimated that the average road charges will be EUR 0.12/km.
